Richard has over 25 years’ experience in commercial management, working across both client and supplier environments. He has led teams, built greenfield commercial functions,  delivered large complex commercial programmes, with a strong focus on commercial outcomes & operational excellence. 

Richard's worked across a range of industries inc. Finance, Insurance, Media and Technology, & with organisations of all sizes - from small UK businesses to global conglomerates, which has given him the ability to adapt quickly to different cultures & varying levels of operational complexity. (N.B He's also cut his teeth on several transformational projects within Central Government). 

During covid, Rich co-founded a niche IT consultancy, operating in a CRO/COO capacity, leading on commercial propositions, partnerships, & client engagements. He did enjoy that, but he's now back in his happy place, helping business resolve supplier & purchasing challenges, driving meaningful improvements and outcomes across their commercial / supply chain landscape. 

Sophie has nearly 30 years experience in the commercial profession and brings a wealth of knowledge to Mantis. As a dynamic commercial, procurement and transformation professional she brings  comprehensive experience of complex change programmes and proven successes in pursuit of multifaceted procurement, project and supply chain activities across a variety of industries. 

Sophie is skilled in a broad range of strategic commercial practices including commercial modelling, SRM, LEAN, cost reduction and process reengineering strategies, category leadership, and greenfield/transformation project management. 

Sophie's industry experience is varied from government and public sector, to health and hospitality.
